You Are My Eternity
I saw Eternity the other night
Like the great Ring of pure and endless light,
All calm as it was bright,
And round beneath it, Time in hours, days, and years
Driven by spheres
Like a vast shadow moved

in which the world soothed.
Its unruly and rebellious sound proved
its quiet before the storm.
But slowly faded into its innocense
As I starred into its eyes of wonder; I can't recall feeling
its purity since.
Its bright glorious light
Shadowed life's beautiful pain then vanished out of my
sight.
Within a blink of an eye my reality returned.
But in that instance I realized, and with all my struggles
I was no longer concerned.
I forgave those who, without remorse to me, have
burned.
Thru that moment, the beauty of forgiveness I learned.
From that day forth to my Savior I turned,
And recognized that there is beauty before pain,
Sunshine before rain,
From that day from selfishness I will refrain,
And life's pleasures and wonders I will sustain,
From here on I will no longer see my life as a curse,
But continue my conquest to fully understand that
before life, there is birth.
I saw all this in my Eternity's eyes.
